Social and mini-game bonuses are two of the most impactful bonus mechanics, with average revenue impacts of 5.8% and 3.4% WoW.

Both types of bonuses are combined in POP! Slots’ Flashy Cash machine. In this machine, players collect tokens to advance through three rounds of a tournament. Players who make it through the third round get to participate in a mini-game. 

Adding a mini-game to the end of the tournament makes the machine more appealing to players who don’t normally enjoy competitions. Designers can further target these players by including collaborative mechanics within social bonuses.
