myVEGAS’ Troy Infinite Link is one of the most thematically complete machines we’ve ever seen. Nearly every element of the machine—including visuals, mechanics, and UI—contributes to the machine’s Trojan War theme.

Two of the most notable elements are a Trojan horse mechanic and an innovative battle mini-game, which work together to make up the machine’s main loop. Trojan horse symbols leave behind frames that copy soldier symbols to all adjacent positions. Landing enough soldiers on a single spin triggers a battle mini-game in which players spin a wheel to complete a series of increasingly difficult battles.

This report analyzes how Troy Infinite Link’s intricate visual design compliments its mechanics by creating tension while also clearly communicating players’ gameplay goals.
