How Hero-Sharing Drives Retention
Cookie Run: Kingdom’s latest feature allows players to rent out one hero from their collection, enabling all other players to temporarily use that hero. This feature gives players access to powerful heroes, which improves retention by helping them overcome challenging pinch points. Testing out high-level heroes also gets players invested in those heroes early on—which may drive players to unlock them permanently.
On top of that, players earn rewards for renting out heroes and get ranked on leaderboards based on how often their heroes are rented, which motivates veteran players to create the most desirable hero builds.
