Similar events in Royal Match, Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells, Bubble Pop Origin!, and Wheel of Fortune: Show Puzzles produced an average revenue impact of 6.1% WoW across 10 releases.
Offering a high ratio of free rewards is effective because it causes players to perceive those rewards as more valuable—and any associated payments as less costly. And the unlimited nature of the rewards creates a sense of incompleteness that keeps the event at the forefront of players’ minds.
